Located in Northampton, EMS’ Central Distribution Centre holds in excess of five thousand truck & trailer parts for replenishment to our branch network on a daily or scheduled delivery service. Also providing a VOR pick and despatch service for time-critical parts.
BRANCH COVERAGE
A branch network in eighteen strategic locations covering all areas of the UK, providing next day standard service and same day VOR service (services can vary for remote areas / Island destinations) for regionally located customers, utilising branch profiled parts and drawing on national inventory in meeting the highest industry service standards.
TRUNKING
In-house overnight and daily trunking service from our CDC, servicing strategic network locations in replenishing stocks for next day branch availability and providing an “Internal Branch Transfer” service for repositioning of priority parts and collection of waste materials for centralised recycling.
DELIVERIES
Providing a localised service to all our customers in utilising branch profiled van distribution fleets, with National back-up in monitoring local activity levels and fleet utilisation. Through optimised route planning we can notify customers of delivery route ETAs and respond to urgent delivery requests with active fleet tracking.
EMERGENCY / OUT OF HOURS SUPPORT
Out of hours support can be provided on request, providing access to local branch parts availability (collection from branch). Special deliveries can be arranged on agreement.
